Scanlover 2.0 popular JAV Forum now redirects to eyecandy.net, a "Trending AI Art Images" website.
Scanlover, one of the most popular online forums for discussing JAV and AV idols, has recently shut down.
What's even more strange is that the website now redirects to eyecandy.net, which is a "Trending AI Art Images" website.
This change was spotted by several community members back on 12th January, with the assumption the site would return back to normal in a couple of days.
Since its shutdown, a popular thread on Reddit has also popped up, mainly started by many former community members.
While it is still uncertain to why the site was taken down, many suspect that the site was hit by DMCA takedown notices due to a large number of pirated content being hosted and distributed there.
Others speculate that the site owner decided to focus his time on his new AI venture, hence the redirection.
