Ai Sayama Announces Retirement After 18-Year JAV Career

Popular JAV actress Ai Sayama has announced that she will be retiring from the JAV industry after an 18-year career. 

The 35-year-old actress confirmed that her final work will be filmed this December, with a release planned for September 2025.

Ai shared the news directly with her fan club, explaining her decision and timeline:

“I will officially retire as an AV actor after completing filming in December 2024. My retirement work is expected to be released in September 2025. I plan to announce my retirement publicly on X (Twitter) and Instagram with a New Year’s message on January 1, 2025.”

Ai expressed her gratitude to her fans, acknowledging their support throughout her career:

“Thank you for understanding my decision. This is something I’ve been considering for a while, and I wanted to share my feelings with you first before making it public.”

Her original plan was to retire in April 2025 to coincide with her 18th anniversary in the industry. 

However, after discussions with her management, the timeline was adjusted slightly.

“I debuted in April 2007 at the age of 18. Although I intended to retire in April, aligning my retirement with the completion of my final project felt like the right choice,” she explained.

Even after retiring from the Japanese adult video (JAV) industry, Ai will remain active in other areas. 

She will continue performing as “Love” in the idol group Black Diamond and will maintain her work with Red Dragon under the name Sayama Fa.

“I won’t be stepping away from the public completely. I will still be performing with Black Diamond and working with Red Dragon, so I hope you will continue to support me,” she said.

With nearly two decades in the industry, Ai Sayama has built a strong fan base and a respected career. 

Her contributions have left a lasting impact, and as she transitions into this next phase, her fans are likely to continue supporting her endeavors.
