It's really weird that the code is added to the numerator. And when you have a code like 007, then the first letter of the code is added to the numerator. It's also very weird that when the system clock has something in the denominator, then the code is generated from the result.
I can't understand why the professor is doing this. It's not a good way to generate a code.
What I think the professor should be doing is instead of generating the code from the equation, just have one register that says 007. Then you can have 2 registers that say 007 and 3 registers that say 007. Then you can generate a code from a combination of these registers.`
